Is Ministry of Colours Holi colour powder safe?

 In a word, yes. Our colour powder is non-flammable and non-toxic.  It is the safest colour powder currently available on the UK market.  We work with our supplier to ensure the quality of our colour powder.

 

Does the colour powder stain clothing?

 

Like any other colour powder, Ministry of Colours colour powder will stain clothing, especially in heavily used areas.  Please be aware of this when using the coloured powder.

 

What about food allergies?

 

The main ingredient of our colour powder is cornstarch.  Cornstarch is gluten free, therefore those individuals with coeliac disease are safe if exposed to the colour powder.  Eczema sufferers may already be aware that cornstarch is used to sooth irritation.

Does the colour powder wash off floors, buildings and plants?

 

Mother Nature should rid all surfaces of the colour powder after rain.  Perhaps consider using a leaf blower to collect together excess powder after your event? A jet wash is also a great way to clean away any unwanted colour powder quickly.

 

How much colour powder do I need?

 

The answer to this is very much dependent on the size and type of event you are creating.  Please refer to this blog post that provides information on quantities of bulk 20kg bags or 100g colour powder packets that we think you'll need.
