What is Rangoli?

Rangoli is a traditional Indian art form dating back 5,000 years. Rangoli designs are created using sand, marble dust and other brightly coloured materials. The purpose of Rangoli is to welcome Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and good luck, into homes. It is believed that a Hindu household without a clean entrance and rangoli is an abode of daridra (bad luck).

Mandala Mindfulness

Mandalas are geometric designs that hold great symbolism in Hindu and Buddhist cultures. The process of creating your own mandala pattern is therapeutic and calming. Beyond their vibrant appearance, mandalas hold deep spiritual and meditative meaning. By entering a mandala and moving towards its center, one is believed to be guided through the cosmic process of transforming suffering into joy and happiness.
