Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice Case Study

Here at Ministry of Colours we love hearing about our customers’ experiences with our range of products. Last month we received some lovely feedback from Community Children Count and they told us all about their colour powder party that the families in their community always look forward to.

This month we’ve received some pretty awesome feedback from Vicky, the Events Fundraiser for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. Vicky has told us all about how they used our colour powder for their fabulous colour run that they recently hosted at Greenhead Park, in Huddersfield. The event raised over £32,000! How brilliant is that?

Who Are Forget Me Not Childrens’ Hospice And What Is Your Role?

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice supports children with life-shortening conditions, their families and families living with the loss of their child across West Yorkshire. We provide care at our purpose built hospice in Huddersfield and across the wider community at homes, hospitals and schools in Kirklees, Calderdale, Wakefield, Leeds and Bradford.

My role as Events Fundraiser is to help generate income for the Hospice by planning events such as our Colour Run. These events are also important to us as they bring our community together, which includes the people taking part, various companies sponsoring the colour stations, volunteers supporting us on the day and our families attending.

I first discovered Ministry of Colours when searching for colour run paint and having used Care Fundraising Supplies in the past, I was happy to reach out to you for a quote.

Why Did You Need The Products You Purchased?

We purchased products from Ministry of Colours for our upcoming Colour Run event and I have used you for a couple of years now. You’re very helpful with advising on suggested quantities of products too. The range of products you supply, suit the needs of our event with your larger bags ideal for our colour stations, the single bags are perfect for individuals to throw on each other and the colour cannons are perfect to help us both start the race and throw a colour party afterwards.

How Did You Use Our Products And How Did The Event/Day Go?

Without the colourful products, we wouldn’t be able to put on a colour run event. It really is all about the colourful powder and every individual being covered in all the colours.

What Are Your Thoughts On The Products You Purchased?

Having used them for a few years now, they really work for our event and we will look to purchase more for upcoming Colour Run events.
